  4. OK, I give up, here it is!  For years I have beeen planning to fix a bug 
  5. and add some features before distributing this more widely.  The reality 
  6. is that I might never get around to do it.  So if anybody wants it, here 
  7. it goes, as is, wharts and all.

  9. The bug is a faulty storage deallocation; the program runs out of memory 
  10. after loading a long sequence of data sets.  If this happens, just 
  11. restart. 
  12.  
  13. The features that would be nice to have:
  14. -  Proper Hercules support.  Now it requires the GRAFIX driver, that I 
  15.    understand used to come with the original Hercules card.  I have never 
  16.    seen such an animal, and I have not tested it, so that even this may 
  17.    not work.
  18. -  Graphics adapter type auto-detect.
  19. -  Keyboard mouse simulation.
  20. -  VGA and Super VGA modes.
  21. -  Zoom and pan.
  22. -  Etc.
  23. Maybe some day...

  27. As supplied, the program starts with CGA as the display default.  See 
  28. 3DVPATCH.DOC for instructions on how to change this.

  30. !! WARNING !!: attempting the EGA mode without an enhanced EGA monitor (or 
  31. VGA) can cause hardware damage.
